January 2006, the worst month in recent memory

#1 Postby azsnowman » Fri Jan 20, 2006 1:56 pm

January 2006 will go down in the history books as being the "Driest, Latest first snow and NOW....the Latest *First Frost*!"

This morning, 20 January 2006 was the "Latest First Frost" ever recorded!! Yes......we've had below zero temps, average low temps since December have been in the "teens and single digits" HOWEVER...with virtually NO HUMIDITY and I mean NONE, RH values have been in the "SINGLE DIGITS" with the Dew Points BELOW zero......there has been NO FROST until this morning and looking at the long range, it probably won't happen AGAIN for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time

Pray for us........

Dennis

Their may be some hope ahead. GFS shows maybe some rain or snow a little over a week from now.

Every rain event in the post Day 7 period that the GFS has shown since October has totally failed to verify therefore one would have to be hitting the Ganja (or in this case maybe the mushrooms) really hard to accept it this time around.
