Well given the set up and circumstances, we didn't fare too badly in the end. Much better than i expected.

Heavy rain turned to heavy snow..we've had some pretty impressive snow squalls move through last night and this morning and we ended up with a repectable 1 inch on the ground, closer to 2 in some places (depending on where in the city you are....it was less than an inch when i left my home near campus this morning)

Ok, not huge amounts, but given that all of yesterday had very heavy rain and that it was 55F...i think thats not bad at all.

And at least we cant say that January was completly snowless anymore.

I hope the next system goes the same way...it'll keep us going until the proper cold returns anyway!

Funny to think that tomorrow we'll be enjoying a warm and sunny day again.
