have a accumulating snow event this winter??????Seems like winter is gone and spring is on the way. What are your thoughts?

yeah maybe a little bit but nothing huge who knows but winter is a mild one.

There is no way to predict it. Sometimes winters can be soooo mild and then we get one storm that drops 10" and we're above average for the whole year. Or we can be really cold all winter and only have small snows that add up to only 5" total...putting us below avg. Its a wait and see type of thing...nowcasting is the way to go w/ raleigh snows.

JQ,

Hard to believe how fast time flies but this coming Thursday 1/19th will mark the 1st anniversary of the 1" of snow that put Raleigh at a standstill!! :eek:

My Dad who works for the state division of water quality didn't get home from work until around 2 am ET on the 20th! :wink:
