Looks like mid week may have some action in the Northeast/New England. I wanted to throw this out there before the 0z comes out and possibly destroys my hopes. Nothing to write home about as you will see when looking 126+ hrs out but with marginal temps, anything can happen in the month of January!

The shift between the 00/06 UT runs and the 12/18 UT runs couldn't have been more dramatic.

The later runs are slower and deeper. Much more precipitation; perhaps even some snow in NE and at elevation in the Mid-Atlantic.

Now if we could find some cold air and some support from a few of the other models!

Oz GFS should be interesting this evening as the 0z NAM cooled significantly (3C.) over the Northeast Wednesday although a drier scenario now exists with that model at 84 hrs. out.

Haven't lost total hope yet for a mid week event here in the Northeast.
