Heavy snow in WMass...

#1 Postby Tri-State_1925 » Sat Dec 31, 2005 4:32 pm

I was just pulling out of there en route to Worcester and man, it was coming down. Already accidents on the highways...I almost spun out with all the cars slamming on their breaks to avoid this one car that had basically parked in the right lane. Luckily I finally drove out of that mess halfway to Worcester...

Uh oh, we're starting to get some moderate snow around here...

Here in the UK we've just been through a easterly, it wasn't that strong but its like the holy grail here when it is, with the east coast having a ice day, which while probably fairly common in the US here as we are an island they aren't that common, indeed that was the first widespread ice day for 10 years!!!

N.Kent in the SE got a total of close to a foot of snow, massive amounts here.

We ended up with about 3 inches as well. I think most of it was between 10PM and 2AM though. Last burst of heavy stuff was at 1:30AM just before it all ended.

But I'm really pumped about what I just saw on TV. Honestly, I just turned the tube on after getting home from work and the first thing I see on NECN is "TUESDAY NOR'EASTER" and "6-12 inches". Plus, the met was saying they might have to adjust the predicted totals higher than this.

Yeah, I saw that on the news the other day. Looked pretty wild...
