12z Euro would be almost a best case scenario for portions of South Central Texas that are still dealing with drought.

Re: Texas Spring 2024
Getting a little too close to nasty Houston humidity today in FW, 81 with a 70 dewpoint.
I'm almost ready to turn off the spigot, I'll take a dry low 90's with a 61 dewpoint over a sweaty, sometimes rainy low 80's and 70's dewpoint. DFW is already good on rainfall now, the bonus isn't worth the muggy blah.

Looks like we may get some rain tonight here in N Tx. It feels miserable outside.

I haven’t seen anything that would indicate tonight.

That’s weird cuz none of the models I’ve seen show anything for tonight in that area. Tomorrow looks busy though.

Re: Texas Spring 2024
Crazy storm motions/interactions in SW OK today, big time over performance today for OK. On another note, yet another event where the HRRR completely busted (at least for OK). I'm not sure whats wrong with it but it's been so bad lately. It used to be pretty reliable but now it's hard to trust it. Seems like models as a whole have been subpar this year.

Agreed and tomorrow could be our first opportunity based on some of the incoming 0z Hi-Res models tonight.

Re: Texas Spring 2024
And now a PDS warning for an anticyclonic tornado with a massive CC drop. I've never seen that before.
This whole area wasn't even in a 2% until the 1z update

And reading the warning, the tornado is barely moving. This could be one for the books, just hope there isn't very much built up in the area.

Re: Texas Spring 2024
That has to be the world's smallest tornado watch they just issued. What the heck's going on up there. It looks like it's starting to make a line to head down into Texas now.

Those poor people have been under a tornado warning for the past couple hours! Absolutely crazy!
