Figures. Guess we'll have to wait on another one day, 10 inch rainfall in August like last year. I'm weather bummed .

Well some stuff in the area, even northwest Tarrant now, so there’s hope.

So do we see any sort of relief coming beyond next week with regards to this heat ridge? I would hate for this to be a multi-week event.

To me it looks like it will be hot for the next two weeks, but not horrible unless you live in west Texas. The gfs shows the the center of the high shifting west of us, which would still put us near 100, but could offer a few opportunities for MCSs ride in on NW flow into OK and the eastern half of Texas

Today definitely exceeded my expectations. Shame to see hail that large in flower mound, but otherwise I haven’t seen too many other sig severe reports. A lot of much needed rain in advance of the heat ahead, and by far the best lightning display I’ve seen since the night of the north Dallas ef3 a few years ago

The Cockroach Death Ridge is already in existence, it is currently in Mexico.

I also put in arrows on which model takes the center of High Pressure of the Ridge, Green is GFS, Blue CMC, and Red is Euro, all from 0z.

The Darker arrows are the Ensembles, and the lighter ones are the Operational models.
