That's a mid to upper-level feature in a high-shear environment. No surface rotation. Nothing to be concerned about. It will be inland this evening.

Can two MCVs this close together do something similar to the Fujiwara effect due to rotation and proximity? Or does that have to be two cyclones.

Actually, some nice convection with strong helicity is kicking up.
In 4000 CAPE air,
CIMSS has it in a pocket of near zero shear or on the edge of a gradient.
