As big of a weather buff as I am, I'm a bit ashamed to admit that I don't have a weather radio.
I am asking for your recommendations. I'd like something with strong signal strength, SAME techmology, among other features.

Don't worry, I'm one of the biggest weather buffs and I don't have a weather radio either. I don't find that I need it for my current location or situation because usually I'm on top of things in the warning department and the power usually doesn't go off much. Different story for people living in extreme weather zones which is more or less many parts of the US.
