Finally a named storm in this basin after the lull. I'm pretty concerned about this one though, Taiwan just had Haikui a few weeks ago they certainly don't need another strong storm.

Looks like the track shifted southward from the center of Taiwan, to the southern tip of Taiwan. Is the track going to continue shifting Southward? That seemed like a fairly significant change since last night...

Models tend to have a north/rightward bias for TCs in this area. There's a good chance the forecast track will continue shifting south over the next few days, but I personally don't expect landfall in Mainland Luzon.
