Still looks like it has a punch even that far inland.

Only about 30,000 without power and most of those just need a transformer reset so not too bad.

First time I've ever seen ASCAT wind behind a front used to justify calling it a TS. Looks like a frontal low now.

Surface analysis as of now shows that the warm front is closer to the center, though not yet reattached, and that there's an embedded trough to the south, which occupies the position of a cold front in a typical non-occluded extratropical cyclone, and is likely to turn into one.

Definitely drying up pretty fast. Here's a midnight video update on the storm:

Ophelia is now extratropical, with a forming cold front, two troughs (one of which has another low with two troughs of its own), and a stationary front. Interestingly, it's already occluded. The low has filled a bit, going from 995 mb to 1000 mb.

Even days after she dissipated Ophelia continues to make us miserable up here in NJ bc the remnants continue to meander off the coast causing cloudiness, showers and temperatures in the very low 60s for highs. Really giving me Ian flashbacks last year because like Ophelia the remnants decided to sit and spin off NJ bringing cool, blustery, wet conditions in early October for days on end. Thankfully it seems to be moving southward now towards complete dissipation.
