On march 17 evening A weak low pressure (1012 hpa) over south Italy formed a very strong system over the Ionian sea between Sicily and Calabria coast. FlaNking line and overshooting top is visible; Fortunatelly the center storm located around 100 km on open sea. Top cloud around -70°C and high number lightningh it see even in the Nexsat satellite-noaa during the night:
During the morning the system had acquired vorticity over The Calabria coast of the Thyrrenian sea; This little cyclone caused strong wind (39 kts) and 70-90 mm of rain in 24/h; low floods; During the day the little storm weakened along the Clabria coast;
