Euro develops it near TX/LA coast then at 96 hours moves east like the GFS.

I second that! Everyone keeps comparing this to Frances in 1998. I know Texas needs rain but not that much at one time. That could cause major flash flooding due to the drought hardened ground. That storm also dumped over 20 inches of rain in New Orleans and we could use some to put out this marsh fire that is wreaking havoc on everyone's allergies and sinuses!

The Euro has come in line with the GFS. Model consensus is a novel idea :)

Here is hoping for us Texans to get some relief! I know its looking more and more dismal for us, but I can keep the faith!

Don't know how much rain Texas will get based on the current Euro. It looks well East of where it was. Hope they do, I know Texas needs it.

All depends on how strong the upper trough digs down, models starting to suggest its strong enough to take 93L along with it to some extent.

Got a way to go yet but models do suggest Saturday will be the day for development.
