Inverter in Laptop burnt out

#1 Postby DaylilyDawn » Tue Jul 16, 2013 10:20 pm

Recently my laptop had a black screen after I booted it up. IN a computer forum some one said it might be the inverter gone bad. To find out to shine a flashlight on the screen and see if you see any thing on the screen and I did.So now I just need to get some jewelery screwdrivers to take the bezel off so I can get to it. I bought an inverter off Amazon and have it ready to go.

What type of laptop? I had the same problem a few years ago and gave up.
