Why the Atlantic ITCZ dips to below the Equator?

My question is about the ITCZ and how far south it dips in the none summer months,distint from the Pacific ITCZ that never dips below the Equator.My question to any pro mets here is,why the Atlantic ITCZ dips more in latitud than in the Pacific?
