Site problems

#1 Postby mf_dolphin » Mon Jan 31, 2005 2:37 pm

Sorry of the outage folks. We've been working as hard as we could to get things running again. We actually had two issues. The first was a DNS issue caused by our domain registrar. This is what was causing people to have problems connecting to the site at times. On top of that we had a server failure, as in smoked... We are now on a completely new server and hope everything is back to normal. If you have any problems please post in the Tips and Help forum. :-)

Praise God it's back up and running. I was having withdrawal symptoms. It's a wonderful resource and kudos to everyone who puts in so much hard work to keep it going.

Sitting in the middle of an ice storm, I was sooo excited because my laptop had battery power I was going to use to post current conditions to 2K. The power went out as expected, but then so did 2K!!! That was worse that the power out at the house!!

Thank goodness you are back!

So my Computer and I weren't just thinking we were nuts, in that one time it would connect, next time it wouldn't...
