Poor Shep Smith is going to need mental health counseling

#1 Postby beenthru6 » Thu Sep 01, 2005 11:12 am

Poor man is so distraught over the death of one of the refugees who has been left on the bridge, and the fact that no help has arrived for these people and all of the lawlessness that has interupted the rescue efforts. You can tell everything he is seeing is really starting to affect him. (As it would anyone of course). He just feels so helpless, you gotta feel for him.

So will the CNN report at the New Orleans Convention Center. Extreme conditions. Many people dying from conditions. No food no water no sanitation.

This is about all I can take.

Drinking water should have been first priority!

That is basic. It has been in the upper 90s and these people are stranded in the sun and have had no water to drink for two days!

This is gross incompetence on the part of the local relief coordinators unless no water is to be had.
