Shepperd Smith a hero????? In my book, he is...

Did anyone see the segments with the 5 day old baby and the 3 year old child? Both of these segments were by the Superdome!!

There was this 3 year old child that was so exausted that he passed out just sitting there so Shep and his Crew threw some ice and water down to the child and the child got better.

Then there was a lady with a 5 day old baby and the baby was really warm so Shep went and got the cops and the baby and Mom were taken away.

This whole aftermath just seems like a bad nightmare. Or a disaster movie. It is so hard to make yourself realize that it is really happening and not a nightmare! :(

I pray for everyone in the hurricane ravaged areas of LA., Mississippi, and Alabama.

I didn't see it, but I guess these disasters also bring out the best in some people.

You'd have to be a really heard-hearted reporter to be in the middle of such a disaster and NOT help out wherever possible. Good for Shep for being a human and not just a reporter.

Shep has been doing a good job.

I just cannot believe what is happening in my city. It is making me sick.
