Kevin, You are annointed by God, there is no doubt about it. I felt something incredible about watching it almost like I was a native of the area and that I was more determined than ever to help rebuild this city. I realize that financial contributions are important and will donate all that I can. I also found that while watching this I was pleading to God to help these poor, poor people. I am not that spiritual Kevin so you did a very good thing with this. I hope others really get the power of this important important message and basic tenet of everything a follower of Christ or plain decent person should be following. Nothing happens unless we make it happen, people cant think that they wont make a difference because if we all feel like that people will suffer unncecessarily. Thank you Kevin!

human suffering.........and human kindness, both overflowing. That was both heartbreaking and inspiring at the same time.

Wow, just watched it. Thanks for this, Kevin... heartbreaking, but it gives me resolve to return home, rebuild, and help with the relief effort. Thanks.

The shot of the man with the dog..that is what got me. It was a perfect moment of singularity in a time of moments locked in unknowns..

Thank you.

Thanks for the video.

We here in Montreal, Quebec, Canada are watching the very sad pictures and video from the disaster area via local/national media and CNN.

I have forwarded this video to my friends/colleagues in Montreal.

I've been sitting hear thinking about his real purpose was- not to move us all to tears but to want to help. (tears are still coming here though) Does anyone know what is being done here in Fl to try to help?

Kevin, that was devastatingly powerful... you are a blessed young man.

To answer the questions about giving, the following are great places to start, the following is a great resource that someone else posted for charitable organizations for hurricane relief:

http://katrinahelp.info/wiki/index.php/Aid_Agencies

Also, there are many creative ways that we can all increase the amount of help:

1. Request that your business/company match employee contributions.

2. Email/Call your friends and relatives to give what they can.

3. If you work for a company, organize an internal fundraiser to leverage your business partners and clients. We did this yesterday within our company and raised $38,500 ($19,250 from partners and clients, and we matched them).

4. If you are in college or have children in college, ask them what is being done on campus to raise funds. My daughter, who is a sophmore at The Univ. of Iowa, informed me that her sorority leadership is meeting with all of the other sororities and fraternities to quickly organize a fundraiser for the hurricane victims. This is another great idea to pass along, as these college kids can raise enormous amounts of money for things like this. I've seen them do it before.

IMPORTANT: Be sure to write "Hurricane Katrina Relief" in the memo portion of your checks so that your money goes directly to the victims and not into a general fund.

Try this link, I suggest you right click and save as though...

To those getting the "exceeding bandwidth" error, the author later posted the above where you should be able to DOWNLOAD IT FIRST, then view it.
