MSRobi911 acquires Substantial Housing!!!

#1 Postby MSRobi911 » Thu Jun 01, 2006 1:42 am

Ok we just bought a house today in Moss Point and surprise...this one didn't flood during Katrina! I lived in my dream home, so this is just a house, but its a house and not a trailer!! Man I'm gonna miss my gulf view, but hey, I can see the river from this new house :)

Just thought I would let ya'll know that things are moving along for my family :)

Thanks for all of your prayers!

Woohoo!! I know how much happier you will be in a house, instead of that broken down trailer. It may not be your dream home, but you will start over making new memories with your family, putting the past behind you. You have such an incredible spirit. In your situation, I don't know if I would have been as strong.

Hugs, Fly! I love ya!!

Thanks everyone, we are excited to get a "house" to live in without wheels and doesn't rock when the wind blows. I'll miss the salt air smell of the gulf, but the marsh grass of the river will make up for it I'm sure, rofl...geeze I think the marsh grass smell is gonna be worse. That and the menhaden fisheries across the river, but, a house, is a house, is a house.

BLUE....are you coming to New Orleans this weekend???????????????

WOOOHOOO FLY, I am so happy for you. Do you like your new view eventhough it's not the same? I'm sure your probably happy to have a view either way.

Got sorta moved in today. Bought two bed frames and box springs (someone gave us some mattresses-family) and I had bought a day bed rom the previous owner so have beds at least! My computer is working and the TV, the cableguy finished about 8:00 tonight installing most of the lines. I couldn't believe there was not one cable outlet in the entire house!

The view is beautiful. Robi said tonight, its too quiet up here! No traffic going by, no boom boxes bumping down the street (that's what we had on the beach). He said it feels like it's late at night and I need to be quiet! I'm sure we will get used to it, just have to sleep here tonight and see how it goes. Strange with both kids in the same place with us though.....

Thanks beachbum al maybe if we have the gathering in Pensacola we can all have a good time!

The house is "growing on me" I like it a little more each day, if I only had a couch to sit on and lay down on and take a nap on.............well tomorrow I am going back to the furniture store and see if I like anything new they have in. A guy that Robi went to the FBI Academy with has a friend in Tupelo who has a furniture store and he has offered us a house full for free. That is why I am reluctant in buying something, but heck, I've gotta have a couch! The dang floor is hard. :) :) But hey, I got a floor now!
