The early season will conclude following when Debby does Dallas (oops, meant Corpus Christi).

Otherwise, I think there will be several impacting the Sunshine State.
Milton will threaten Milton
Sara will threaten Lee (County)
Patty may "karaoke on over" to Labelle
and I expect both (Captain) Kirk and William (Shatner) to strike The Space Coast with shields down and "Phasers set to stun".

Thoughts on Ernesto

Ernesto? I've got nothing. Maybe something will come in a fever dream lol.

Do you not think Ernesto sounds significant?

The name "Ernesto" does give me "major" feels. We'll have to wait and see though

Ernesto hasn't exactly been that strong or impactful in the past, with the strongest one being a C2 in 2012.

Ernesto is gonna be the first ever tropical unicorn to develop in the Central Atlantic and then in a unprecedented event will be forced southwestward across the equator and ultimately be classified as the first ever South Atlantic counter-clockwise spinning tropical Cyclone. Hmmm, might that mean that it's 200 mb upper high, is actually "a low"?

Despite still having some misgivings, I will include Isaac (because why not?), Francine, Kirk, and maybe Sara or Tony as a late season big one but not sure yet.

I'm also tempted to include Gordon but for some reason I keep seeing him as a Cat 4 fish. So I don't know.

(I'm not touching the auxiliary list.)

Put me down for $1000 on the "I" storm. Can't lose that bet.

Isaac really has been trying to be relevant/significant Storm since 2012  both 2012 and 2018 were snuffed out by dry air despite being initially predicted to be significant and strong hurricanes (and then 2012’s got overshadowed heavily by Sandy)

I just feel Isaac will be pathetically weak

Beryl and Debbie just seem like 2 names ripe for retirement, and Joyce and Tony keep coming to mind :lightning: :lightning:  :lightning: :lightning:

I recall JB going on an epic rant about Ernesto being robbed of being a hurricane one year (not sure which rotation)...that might put it in the "cursed to repeat" category like Emily and Issac

I think storm names starting with "H" and after will be the big ones.
