Clouds cooperated!! That was awesome!

That was absolutely the greatest thing I've witnessed. The low clouds broke often for us to see the eclipse with glasses. Then got socked in about 3 minutes before totality, and then the clouds thinned and when it went totality here without the glasses is was amazing, like a ring of bright diamonds.

We got to experience the entirety of totality here in Plano before the last vestige of low clouds moved through (finally dissipating 10 minutes later)

Amen. This was....amazing.

Better than I expected honestly. I thought it would be cool. But, to see it visibly just get darker and darker, and then boom, and the diamond ring effect and the corona.

Wow.

It was scary taking the glasses off during totality but to see it was incredible.

And the clouds parted just perfect here. Just patchy cumulus clouds. Now hopefully we won't all get major hail tonight, but honestly with the insurance rate increases, I deserve a cheap roof.

Absolutely perfect timing with the clouds in Arlington, it was almost completely clear right up to and through totality. Then some high clouds came back in a few minutes after it started getting light again.
